New website, who dis?
It's always funny, isn't it, when you have to start something from scratch. As many of you know, I've been blogging on wordpress for years but it got to the point where I just...wasn't all that happy over there. I wanted a website that came across as more me, something that I could use for all of my projects rather than just my history stuff. So I thought it about time that I moved away and got myself a URL that was a website for me, and somewhere away from wordpress - mainly because wordpress is expensive as all hell.
So here we are with a brand spanking new website, and a brand spanking new blog. I'm going to start sharing more about other projects I do and not just just history stuff. Because whilst I am an historian at heart, there's so much more to me than that. To anyone who knows me, I'm a huge gamer and a big big fan of the Resident Evil franchise - and more importantly I've recently been contracted to write a book on the "History of Resident Evil" by White Owl Books. This is HUGELY exciting for me, as a long time fan of the RE series and a speedrunner, and I'm even more stoked to share that I've been talking with a number of the voice actors from the franchise and have plans to interview a musician who worked on the Resident Evil 2 remake. Watch this space with this one, folks. It's going to be huge.
If anyone in the RE community, whether just for casual gaming or speedrunning, wants to be involved please do get in touch.
